So, you want to grab your 8 socket, we're gonna get those guys off. ![]() There are two bolts inside the tailgate bed here, 8 millimeters. #Bikepro red led tail light item 98417 installLet's get started.Tools used in the install include an impact gun or a ratchet and an 8-millimeter socket.First step here, of course, drop your tailgate. I'm gonna show you guys every step of the process, it'll take you about 30 minutes from start to finish. Literally, two bolts hold on the tail lights from the inside of the tailgate there, and you're just gonna swap them out. And the install, I'm gonna give one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter because it's plug and play, no splicing, no drilling, no nonsense. It's gonna be that simple.With that said, the price tag comes in right around 250 bucks. So, you'll just unplug the light bulb themselves and plug the LED connector in. Now, even though you're upgrading from incandescents to LEDs, they plug right into the factory bulb sockets. Now, the nice thing about these tail lights is that they're completely plug and play. And you are gonna be reusing your factory incandescent reverse light, which is gonna sit right in this new housing here. You're, of course, getting the lights at the top and bottom there for your turn signals and your brake lights. Compared to your factory incandescents, these are gonna be better for nighttime visibility, they're a whole lot more attractive, and they're gonna last a whole lot longer than factory.Now, it's got the accent lights on the side here when your headlights are on. When you turn your lights on, they're extremely high-powered, very bright, very vibrant LED lights. You can see that it still has the reverse light stripe in the middle, tail lights and turn signals top and bottom just like factory. ![]() This is a bright red reflective interior with a clear polycarbonate housing. They share the same overall interior and exterior design with the exception of moving from a chrome trim to a red trim. Now, right off the bat when the lights are off, these tail lights from Raxiom actually do look very OEM. You should be checking these out if you're looking for an aftermarket tail light to replace your faded, cracked, damaged, or genuinely just old factory OEM lights with something that has an upgraded technology inside.
